Massachusetts Town Clerks Association honors the Representative for service
BOSTON – State Rep. Peter Koutoujian, D-Waltham, received the Legislator of the Year award from the Massachusetts town Clerks Association last weekend in North Falmouth.
The officers, executive board and members of the Massachusetts Town Clerks Association honored Koutoujian for his continual guidance, assistance and effort.
Koutoujian was accompanied by his father, Peter Sr., who served as Waltham City Clerk for 30 years. The younger Koutoujian dedicated the award to his father at the ceremony.
“This award means a great deal to me because of the selflessness our town clerks demonstrate day-in and day-out,” said Koutoujian. “They tirelessly serve as ambassadors to citizens.” “I saw my father’s passion and dedication, which inspired me to pursue a career in public service.”
